This story will truly inspire you and marches you towards your passion.
“Makeup enhances your look and it makes you feel special” – believes Priya, a professional Makeup Artist. Her journey of becoming a successful makeup artist at the age of 19 is truly formidable. Priya has found her passion when she was just 13.
Being a 13-year-old, she always thought of makeup as an art, a sense of happiness to play with. As she began to feel the attachment with makeup & learned many things during her 13-17 years of age.

Being a south Indian family, convincing her parents to buy her makeup products was very burdensome. But her passion was even powerful.
When Priya approached her mother for her makeup products, her mother declined the request. After shedding tears all day, Priya’s mother bought her a few products of low price, but the cost wasn’t of any bother to her.
She was excited and started implementing her knowledge using those products and the results were pretty motivating. But how much ever motivated you are, there’s always a concomitant at the age of 18, getting a degree.
During her second year of engineering, Priya saw an ad on Instagram that stated a Live MasterClass on professional makeup. She had again requested her mother to lend her some money to attend the masterclass.

Being an 18-year-old, Priya asked her mother to invest in her and promised of putting her family in a position of respect with her passion. Isn’t it brave?
Her mother trusted in her and decided to support her. Priya took a break from her classes and attended the live sessions. In extreme summers, she traveled on a local bus, but truly enjoyed her path to passion. She had completed her certification and that marked the real beginning.

She stepped out of her comfort zone and started working on clients as a professional makeup artist, but naturally, her family & her relatives were against it. This disapproval had pushed Priya into depression for a week. On Noticing her zeal and passion, Priya’s mother decided to give her credit card to Priya as a sign of belief and support. This incident had a great impact on Priya. Her dad being a super hero, took leave from his work and travelled all day long with her, sitting idle for 7-8 hours. That support impacted me and inspired me to work in the direction of my success, says Priya.

She started working for free, with no flexible profits, met few amazing bloggers, like Tanusha, which helped Priya understand what the real world had in store for her.
Priya started by observing the psychology of her clients that helped her with decent returns. When Priya gave that money to her mother, her mom declined to take the money and told her that she was happy that her daughter had made a career out of her passion and worked so hard to achieve it.

Today, all her clients, friends, and relatives appreciate her for the exceptional work, and that truly defines success.
Priya makes use of decent makeup products which are very flexible and not too luxurious, because “Branded Products doesn’t make you a Branded Makeup artist” – says Priya.
With consistent hard work, a lot of patience, and many hurdles in her passion path, Priya has now become a successful makeup artist.
Priya has proved one thing for us –
