A girl who pursued her 6th standard twice had now bagged Rs.40 lakhs package at Amazon, London. As they say, your marks don’t decide your future!

Bhavana Reddy Banala, a 21-year-old, hailing from a small village called Edulla Bayyram near Manuguru town bagged a 40 lakh per annum job at Amazon, London. Bhavana is a graduate of Osmania University and is now placed as a Business Analyst at Amazon, London.

Bhavana is a below-average student from Telangana who studied in a Telugu-Medium School up until her 5th standard. Later, she was transferred to an English Medium School which made her studies hard and the lessons critical to understand. Bhavana pursued her 6th standard twice as she struggled to understand the lectures. She continued leading the way, materializing in the English language lectures and self-upskilled herself gradually. 

Bhavana secured a seat at Osmania University, Hyderabad. During the pandemic hit, she started utilizing the study gap for building practical knowledge and started learning C, C++, and Java. In an Interview, Bhavana talked about getting the job “I have attempted many online exams and interviews, I got rejected three times and finally in my  fourth attempt, I got selected”

“It is my dream to get a job in a big company, and I never imagined it would be this big.” 


“No matter where you have come from or which University you studied, or even how good your marks are in your academics. The only thing that matters is your talent and skills, if you have enough skills, then you can get whatever you want” she added.
