That Particular Situation Led to YUVA ASMITA FOUNDATION
Kunal Chavan was born in November 1999 in Otur, Pune, and attended Gurukul Academy Mahad for his education. He was always interested in extracurricular activities outside of school, whether it was debating or sporting events. He has always performed admirably. Experimenting with various scientific experiments was his favorite pastime. Since childhood, it has always been a matter of conversation. He traveled to Pune for further studies after finishing his schooling. He was continually reminded that when he came to Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce in Pune, he witnessed destitute children wandering the streets looking for food.
Rather than sitting quietly, he resolved to work for the underprivileged properly. He started up Yuva Asmita Foundation with four buddies because he didn’t know what else to do. Previously, four buddies worked together, and others gradually became interested in their work. This group began to attract new members. However, as the team grew, there were numerous challenges, owing to their lack of financial capability. Raising finances was not a simple task. Even though his closest friends abandoned him in the midst, he stood alone and maintained the YUVA ASMITA cart going correctly.
Corona and Studies were the Main Challenges…
An initiative like Roti Day was established to offer free food to the needy; however, it was challenging to alleviate all of the poor’s hunger in one day. As a result, while they focused on what might aid, an epidemic like Corona afflicted the entire planet. It was impossible to get out of the house and help because of the lockdown. For Yuva Asmita, however, the lockdown was a watershed moment. Due to the lockdown, the youth shifted their attention to online activities, which resulted in people from various places communicating on social media and praising the work. They also indicated an interest in taking part.
As a result, Yuva Asmita began to spread throughout Maharashtra. It was critical to concentrate on one’s personal studies while working for the team. Another surprise occurred while working in several locations around Maharashtra: the person in charge of various groups abruptly left the team for personal reasons. Suddenly, a large number of them began suing him. People were asking questions, but it was essential to keep the group together. Kunal re-established the team firmly and put the Yuva Asmita in such a position that; Today, the name of YUVA Asmita is spread all over Maharashtra.
Experiences Distilled from Past Activities
Despite his loss when a natural disaster struck the Konkan, Kunal Chavan assisted the people of Mahad with everything from cleaning to whatever they required for the next few days. He helped the inhabitants of Mahad with everything from food to daily essentials. At such a young age, he has become a mentor to hundreds of young people. He has influenced many young individuals.
“If you want to do something, no matter how difficult it may be, learn how to do it.”
But he is not content with that; he wants to provide free education, free schools, and free hostels to millions of students in the future, ensuring their bright future and the creation of jobs. “I believe in business too! Social work is my hobby & business is my passion. I think that if you won’t get a job don’t be upset. Instead start your own small business,” Kunal says.
“You will achieve the heights regardless of your age if your thoughts and goals are solid. To achieve such an achievement, we must move forward without hesitancy.”
